About
Whatevers Natural Family Farm is located in beautiful Fort Jones California in the Scott Valley/Quartz Valley area. Our farm is all natural hand grown and hand harvested produce. Our shares are delivered from June until November. We offer full shares, half shares and worker shares. We will also barter for equipment or grass fed beef if you do not have the time or money for your shares. We limit barter shares for those who truly cannot afford fresh produce. We do occasionally offer eggs and meat chickens and other produce on occasion.
We offer internships for ages 18 years and older. Farm tours for local education, and donations for church pantries.
Our area of coverage is for the Fort Jones, Etna, Yreka, Montague, Dunsmuir, Mt. Shasta, Weed, and Redding California. We will also service Ashland and Medford Oregon.
Whatevers Natural Family Farm approach is CSA locally owned and grown. Hand planted and hand harvested. We do not use pesticides or herbicides and we rotate our crops accordingly. We have a heated green house where we start our transplants in February. We also utilize low to the ground portable hot houses for early spring and fall planting. Our garden is kept moist and rich by using all natural composting materials that are applied regularly for weed control. Our shares come in wax boxes that we want shareholders to recycle for weekly exchange.
