Vegetable & Fruit Shares Shares are offered in either full or half box quantities for a 24 week contract period. Shares will vary in some in size, weight and quantity depending on the time of the season and growing conditions. One of the unique aspects of a CSA is that the risks and benefits of the harvest are shared between the farmer and the share buyer.

Full shares will typically consist of a variety of items that will feed a family of four for a week. The variety and quantity of items will have an average value of $23.00 which will normally be about 15% below the price the same certified organic items would cost in a store.

Half shares will typically consist of a variety of items that will feed two people for a week. The variety and quantity of items will have an average value of $13.50 which will normally be about 10% below the price the same certified organic items would cost in a store.
