Located in central St. Charles County in the village of Josephville, Nature’s Bounty Farms is a continuation of a tradition of over 150 years. In 1852, Franz Joseph Feldewert, age 56, with his wife Elizabeth (Hagedorn), age 48, and eight Children immigrated from Ervitte, Germany to St. Charles County. They bought 160 acres, a portion of a Spanish land grant of the 1700’s, from Alexander and Rebecca Kile. Since 1852 Feldewerts have farmed this same land believing that the land is to be nurtured and preserved for future generations...
Nature’s Bounty Farms was organized in 2004. Operated by the 3rd generation, with some assistance from the 5th, a portion of the original Feldewert Homestead has been dedicated to organic production of vegetables and berries. We adhere to National Organic Program Regulations and are USDA Certified Organic.
Our Mission Statement: Supply the discriminating consumer with nature’s bounty of fresh vegetables and berries grown the100% natural way.
