Business Detailed:  We're a small farm in Jackson County that grows heirloom vegetables. With a focus on finding the tastiest culinary applications for our produce, we have a CSA program that pushes its members towards discovering new dishes for seasonal vegetables by supplying weekly recipes to focus on that week's harvest while surmounting the very defining characteristics of what it means to be local, sustainable, and "terroir" of the land. You get one box a week of fresh organic produce beginning the last week of May (5/31/10) through the second week of October (10/18/10). One box a week for 21 weeks on average contains at least eight kinds of produce. This year, in order to get the freshest, highest quality produce to our customers we are instituting Fresher & Greener home delivery! Monday evenings we will deliver the CSA boxes conveniently to your door; this way youll have the freshest possible produce from Mud Puddle Farm in your fridge and ready for you to consume that week. Our new service is also greener, with only one car delivering produce rather than many!
