Our farm operates like an online farmer's market. We notify our members weekly what is available and they get to chose what they receive that week. We offer our own home-grown produce as well as a limited selection of high-quality fruit from other small farms.
A Childs Farm is dedicated to growing high-quality, naturally healthy food and selling it at affordable prices. We love the CSA model, but are determined to make it more customer friendly and personalized. The beautiful farm on Kirk Rd. in Oregon City has been used to raise all natural, pasture-fed beef and berries up until 2008 when it was purchased by the Childs Family. They are excited to make it a productive, sustainable farm and have already started by planting green manure crops, planting hundreds of trees, and preparing garden beds for 2010 planting. William and Vernie DeMille have joined the Childs farm as your personal farmers. The DeMille's farmed in the Midwest for 12 years, operated a CSA in Colorado, and have been teaching families and individuals how to grow the finest veggies in their own backyards through teaching seminars and classes across the United States and Canada.
