In June, children will be able to paint pots and plant flowers or herbs. July’s market will include a bike-decorating contest. In August the market will run in conjunction with the Irvington Guild of Artists’ Summer Art Fair. Finally, the first Irvington Farmers Market’s Day of the Dogs will take place in September.
The Irvington Farmers Market is noon to 3 p.m. the second Sunday of each month at Ellenberger Park, 5301 E. St. Clair St. The market runs June through October and 30 to 40 vendors sell food, produce, baked goods, Amish goods, candles, soap, jewelry and artwork.
