Apifera Farm is owned and operated by Katherine and Martyn Dunn. The couple's first lavender crop was planted in 2004 and by 2005 they had 3000 plants in ground. They plan to add up to 1500 more, and also will focus on some draught tolerant perennials. The couple do not spray, nor do they use weed barrier of any kind. They will eventually have an organic certificate.

Apifera Farm's lavender is for sale in bulk and by bundles. They also raise registered Katahdin sheep for breeding and lamb is available on a pre-sold basis. Katherine is a recognized painter and her work always emotes her love of animals and nature.

Keep our lamb in mind for breeding stock or meat [limited quantities]. Hormone free, raised on pasture/hay. They welcome inquiries and will set up appointments for visitors - they love their farm where all the horses, goats dogs, cats and sheep are named after plant life.
