DelaBlu Farm is offering up to 15 shares of mouth-watering, fresh and naturally grown produce for 20 weeks starting in June and going through October.
Our veggies, fruit and herbs are chosen by people like you, and you can always make requests! We offer a wide variety of traditional everyday vegetables like green beans, tomatoes and carrots, plus some new ones to challenge your culinary skills! (Don't worry, we'll provide you tips and recipes on how to enjoy them!) Each weekly share contains up to 14 different vegetables and fruits depending on the month. For example, June will be a little lighter and August may very well overflow; though we will do our best not to leave you hungry or overwhelm you.
Besides vegetables, you have the choice of a hand painted gourd birdhouse or a unique button bracelet. There will also be occasional cheerful bouquets of flowers. Our DelaBlu Farm Updates (newsletter with recipes, jokes, poems/songs, farm news and a kids challenge) are included as well. We also offer optional volunteer days to get to know your farmer, food, make new contacts and enjoy a bit of life on a farm. If you are short on time or energy, don't worry! You can come to our harvest celebration! Another benefit of our CSA is that members get a 15% discount on all their bulk purchases for storing or preserving.
Our share comes in one size. It is enough for a household of two adults and a couple of children or two adults who love veggies and want to have extra to freeze or can; so if you want to have just a half a share, we recommend that you find a buddy to share with. The price is $500, paid in advance.
We will drop off the box at agreed upon times and locations as close to you as possible. You can also pick the box up at DelaBlu farm or the farmers' markets in Blue Earth (Saturday) or Mankato (Thursday).
