Business Detailed:  The Farm of Plenty is a community supported farm that grows mainly organic Heirlooms. Heirlooms are seed varieties that are over 100 years old. The flavor and nutrient densities are usually much better than what is available today. We are in the process of becoming organically certified as we are at our new larger farm this year. We provide school tours and hold festivals throughout the season. We are also the Central Lakes Region original corn maze and pumpkin patch which opens in the Fall. We currently offer a 125 member CSA with delivery stops in St. Cloud, Little Falls, Merrifield, Crosslake, Brainerd and Nisswa. Our CSA runs for 20 weeks. For our CSA we mainly grow (98%) heirlooms. It is our and our members opinions that heirlooms taste better and are more nutient dense. Our CSA follows the seasons. Do not expect things that are not.Once we get into the summer months we usually have excess produce which we bring for our members to share above and beyond their normal share. We also will have an on-line ordering system for members to order extra for canning or to customize the share if there is something they know they will not eat. We also provide recipes to match the produce they recieve.
